Description
Providing rats with a safe shelter is crucial for their well-being and promoting positive behaviour Our rat tunnels provide a sheltered hiding place without obstructing caretakers’ view during routine cage checks.
Made of durable 3mm thick high-temperature polycarbonate, the rat tunnel is ideal for use in both single- and multi-animal environments. The transparent design allows for quick and easy cage checks, while the red or amber options provide a sense of refuge and reduce light levels.
The rat tunnel not only provides shelter and safety, but can also be used as a tool to separate individual rats in multi-animal environments. Hanging the tunnel maximises the available floor space, allowing rats to climb and have the opportunity to play and explore, reducing boredom and aggressive behaviour.
