MediGel® Sucralose is a low-calorie, pleasant-tasting water gel designed for administering medication for animal research. It offers a soft gel texture that promotes consumption and can replace the need for a water bottle. The use of a low-calorie sweetener effectively masks the medicinal taste. In addition, MediGel® Sucralose offers greater flexibility through its own preparation and dosing.
Product quality is ensured by its sterile nature, inside and out, and the use of Tyvek® medical packaging. MediGel® Sucralose is E-Beam irradiated and meets quality standards as tested by an independent laboratory. Each batch produced comes with a certificate of analysis and each product is individually coded with batch and expiry dates.
To use MediGel® Sucralose, it must be the only source of hydration during treatment and administered under the direction of a veterinarian. The dosage is intended for five mice for two days, based on average size and consumption. Intake should be monitored during the treatment period. The product was manufactured for use in laboratory animals, and it is important to follow the protocols for thermal mixing or mixing by hand.

The ingredients of MediGel® Sucralose are purified water, hydrocolloids, food acids, natural flavouring, electrolyte blend and sucralose. It has a shelf life of 24 months unopened and is suitable for use in rabbits, rats, pigs, guinea pigs, mice and primates.
